Becoming: A Journey through Recovery

Okay, friends, here’s what’s up.

The Dwelling Place has always served a dual purpose: to help solidify what God is teaching me as I wrestle with wrapping words around His movement, and to encourage and strengthen your faith while we navigate this journey together. You are always such good, gracious traveling buddies!

Over this past year, the Lord has dragged/carried/taken me through a 12-step program, and it’s time I start processing the content here.* To that end, I’ll be blogging through each of the recovery steps in the coming months. It’s been a while since I took on a more intensive project like this, but I’ve always honestly enjoyed the stretching that results. (Looking at you, gospel of John studybook year, and self-awareness challenge.)

In the words of a great but small personage, “I think I’m quite ready for another adventure.”

*If you’re interested in details, the ministry is called Re:Generation, and it’s through Watermark Church in Dallas. Feel free to check out the official website here.
